1. How warm is the Bergen Coat?
The Bergen is designed for everyday cold and windy conditions. Its padded interior, extended length, protective hood and full front zip help retain body heat and reduce exposure to cold wind. On especially cold days, its relaxed fit leaves room for an additional layer.
2. Is the Bergen waterproof?
The Bergen is designed to provide protection against wind, but it is not a technical waterproof raincoat. For prolonged or heavy rain, we recommend using dedicated rain protection.
3. How do I choose the right size?
Compare the garment measurements in the Size Guide with a coat that already fits you well. The Bergen has a relaxed fit with room for a shirt or jumper. If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose the larger size.
4. Does the coat feel heavy or bulky?
The Bergen has a padded longline construction, so it feels more substantial than a lightweight jacket. Its relaxed cut provides comfortable movement and room for layers without creating an oversized appearance.
